Connected to Ninux Open Wireless Community

I'm happy to announce that this sunday I finally became a backbone node of the most active italian open wireless lan: Ninux!

Building the node required a lot of effort, especially to solve the problems of the ethernet and power cables, but it was worth it!

The antenna I installed is an Ubiquity RocketM5 mounting a sector 120°:

Next goal is to expand the network more toward the coast as from the roof of my building I can see the sea:

  5. Hi, I have installed openwisp controller using ansible playbook. Now, i am adding the configurations automatically using OPENWRT devices in openwisp file by specifying shared_key so can you suggest me if I want to set limit to add configuration how can i do it?
