Interviewed by IlFattoQuotidiano, Linux Day 2015

27th October 2015 in Coding Tags: linux, open-source

I tried to give a realistic overview about the world of Linux, Open Source and Free Software to ilfattoquotidiano, a usually more alternative but still mainstream italian newspaper.

I wanted to underline that Open Source is more about efficiency and convenience while Free Software is more about ethic and freedom, but the video has been cut for lack of time, and I must admit most people do not really care about this difference, even though this will make free software advocates angry (sorry guys!).

In the interview I actively encourage the viewers to give a try to Linux, and it seems some friends will now finally try Ubuntu or Mint :-)

The video was recorded during the Linux Day Rome 2015, organized by Roma2Lug in Tor Vergata University of Rome.
